Rupiah Opens Lower by 50 Points
Rupiah opened lower against USD on Friday (19/5/2017) by 50 points to Rp 13,405 per USD.

Rangga Cipta, an economist from Samuel Sekuritas, said that USD appreciated on strong US economic data. He added that strong commodity prices may open possibility of appreciation for rupiah.

WTI Crude rose 0.79 percent to $49.74 per barrel and Brent Crude rose 0.72 percent to $52.89 per barrel.
